How to evaluate before you pay

Every new account receives one free validation. It is not a demo or a reduced version: it runs all 20 statistical tests, the Edge Matrix Score, Monte Carlo at 50,000 iterations, Insights, Compare, Portfolio Mode and all 8 exportable reports, on a backtest of your choosing. No payment method is requested.

That free validation is how you find out whether Edge Matrix suits your workflow, and the refund terms below are written on the basis that you can, and should, use it before buying anything.

The free Monte Carlo simulator and the other browser tools on this site require no account at all and are free to use without limit.

Credit packs

Credit packs are one-time purchases. Nothing renews and nothing needs cancelling. Credits do not expire.

Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, at the per-credit price of the pack they came from. Email us with your order ID.

Credits already spent are not refundable. A credit is charged the first time a particular backtest is validated, and at that point the analysis has been performed and the reports are yours to keep and export. That is the point at which the thing you bought has been delivered.

If you buy a pack and change your mind before validating anything, you are covered by the 14-day term above.

Subscriptions

Pro Monthly and Pro Annual give unlimited validations for as long as the subscription is active.

Subscription charges are not refunded after a successful charge, and the reason is the free validation: you can run the entire application on a strategy of your own, at no cost and without entering a card, before committing to anything. There is no version of the product held back from that.

You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access until that date, and no partial refund is issued for unused time within the period.

Renewals are not refundable. Cancel before a renewal date to prevent the next charge.

Lifetime licence

The Lifetime licence is $997, charged once, with no renewal.

It carries a 7-day money-back guarantee. If it is not right for you within 7 days of purchase, email ergodiclabsfx@gmail.com and we will refund it in full within 2 business days. No form and no justification required.

Limits on the Lifetime guarantee:

• One refund per customer, per account
• After 7 days the Lifetime licence is non-refundable
• We may decline a request where account activity indicates clear abuse, for example bulk export of reports immediately followed by a refund request. We expect to invoke this rarely, and we will always explain the reason if we do

Refunds we issue regardless

These apply to every purchase type, and are not limited by the periods above:

• Duplicate charges caused by a technical error on our side
• Billing errors where the amount charged does not match the published price
• An outage lasting more than 72 consecutive hours caused by our own infrastructure, excluding scheduled maintenance and third-party outages outside our control

Not eligible

• Dissatisfaction with the results of an analysis. Edge Matrix reports what the statistics say about a backtest, including when the answer is unwelcome. A low score is the product working
• Deciding to stop trading
• Not using the product during a subscription period
• Hardware, software or connectivity problems at your end
• Credits already spent
• Lifetime licences after 7 days

Chargebacks

Please email us before filing a dispute. We answer within 2 business days and we would rather resolve a billing problem directly than through a payment processor.

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first will result in termination of the account and access to the platform.

If a refund is issued

Your licence to use Edge Matrix ends when the refund is issued, and any credits remaining on the account are removed.

Consumers in the EU and UK

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom you have a statutory right of withdrawal, and nothing in this policy removes it.

Credit packs. Credits are refundable while unused, as set out above. This is intentionally at least as generous as the statutory position, since an unused credit has not been performed.

Subscriptions and Lifetime. When you start a subscription or purchase a Lifetime licence and begin using the service, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU your right of withdrawal may be lost once the digital service has been performed. The free validation, which requires no payment method, exists so that this decision can be made after using the product rather than before.

Payments

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. They may apply their own terms to a transaction, and where those give you more than this policy does, theirs apply.
